How does this differ from the Tracking Card?
The Tracking Card is a slim card you insert into any wallet. The Leather Mag Wallet has the tracker built into its own dedicated wallet body — self-contained, MagSafe-attached to the iPhone, with Horween leather aesthetic. Pick the Mag Wallet if you want a complete wallet replacement; Tracking Card if you have a wallet you love.
How does the Find My battery work?
The internal battery powers the Find My beacon for ~5 months per charge. Place the wallet on any Qi or MagSafe charger to recharge — no cables. The wallet keeps the cards secure throughout charging.
Will it work with my non-MagSafe iPhone?
No — requires MagSafe (iPhone 12 and newer) or a MagSafe-compatible case for older iPhones. The magnetic ring inside the wallet aligns to MagSafe spec.
How does Horween leather develop?
Horween is vegetable-tanned and minimally treated. Over 6–12 months of daily use, it absorbs hand oils, develops a darker rich colour, and the surface marks buff into beautiful patina. Each wallet ages uniquely to its owner.
Will my credit cards be safe from magnets?
Yes — modern credit cards use chip + contactless tech, not magnetic stripe (which has been phased out). MagSafe-strength magnets don't affect chip cards. Hotel keycards with older magnetic strips can occasionally be affected.
