early 1970s Tonka Mighty Loader toy truck

An early 1970s Tonka Mighty Loader in yellow-painted steel with black grille, working bucket, and rubber Tonka tires. The loader’s utilitarian form and worn finish reflect the practical design of midcentury American toys. Shown on a console, shelf, or sideboard, it lends a nostalgic Americana presence to farmhouse and industrial interiors.
