Croquembouche Candle

This summer, one of our chicest friends announced her wedding. She is a prominent Italian entrepreneur; her fiancé, a handsome, rugged Frenchman. They live on the coast of Tuscany, surrounded by elegant friends. So, as our wedding gift to them, we created the Croquembouche Candle.

Croquembouche is the great French wedding cake, particularly appropriate when you’re marrying a handsome Frenchman. It’s a pièce montée of choux, cream, and caramel, built by hand into a tower of impossible indulgence. Each pastry is filled, dipped, and placed one by one, held together by threads of spun sugar until the whole thing becomes something almost architectural.

The Candle opens with the scent of buttery pastry and a bright veil of Lemon Zest, before softening into Whipped Marshmallow Crème and the quiet bloom of Jasmine Flower. At its heart is soft Vanilla, with the deeper sweetness of caramelized sugar and cream.
